Richard Gogan

Richard Gogan (29 November 1899 – 28 April 1982) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician.[1] A home assistance officer, Gogan was first elected to Dáil Éireann as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin North–West constituency at the 1954 general election, having previously unsuccessfully contested the 1948 and 1951 general elections.[2] Gogan held his seat at every subsequent election until he lost his seat at the 1977 general election in the new Dublin Cabra constituency.
