Richard Burdge

Richard J. Burdge was an American farmer from Beloit, Wisconsin who served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate.

Background

Burdge was born on December 28, 1833 in Axbridge, England.[1] He moved to Beloit, Wisconsin in 1845. He became a farmer by trade.

Elective office

Burdge was elected to the Assembly in 1879 and re-elected in 1880. Later, he was a member of the Senate from 1891 to 1894.[2] He was a Republican.
