Rich Serbia

Rich Serbia (Serbian: Богата Србија/ Bogata Srbija) is a political party in the Republic of Serbia. It was founded in 2011 and its leader is media agriculturologist, Zaharija Trnavčević. It stands for the protection of agriculturists and industrials.

At the 2012 election, BS ran as a component of the Turnover political alliance led by Čedomir Jovanović, the head of the Liberal Democratic Party. The list won 6.52% of the popular vote and BS got 1 of its total 19 MPs out of the 250-seat Serbian parliament.

It however almost immediately after the election broke off from the coalition and joined the parliamentary majority with the Progressives and Socialists, siding up with the government of Ivica Dačić (2012–2014), which it continued to support until the end and the surprising early elections.

BS har not registred for the 2014 elections[1] but will run as a coalition parter of the Democratic Party.
