Rich Kidz (formerly known as Rich Kids) is an American hip hop group from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 2008. In 2012, they were signed to Columbia Records.[1][2]
Music career
RKaelub aka HundredKae (born Kaelub Denson) and Skooly aka Skateboard Skooly (born Kazarion Fowler), began their music career together when they first met in school playing basketball.[3] They were named "Rich Kids" at that time and were signed to Grand Hustle Records by T.I.[4] In 2009, they recorded the track “My Partna Dem,” which became a popular song for them.[5]
Rich Kidz have released several mixtapes since they formed. On Everybody Eat Bread, Waka Flocka Flame appeared on the track “My Life."[6]
Rich Kidz debut EP for Columbia Records, titled Yars, was released to all digital retailers on August 25, 2014; Skooly's debut solo mixtape,The Black Jon Gotti, has yet to be scheduled. RKaelub is also working on his debut solo mixtape and that has yet to be scheduled. A full length album, RK4L with Sayy, MajorFlav aka Bigman, Yayo, Kidd, and Sapp, is planned. RK Drey, RK Kap, and RK Scrap are also affiliated with RK4L. Huncho Gang and CCM is also under them. Skooly is with T.R.U ( The Real University) under 2 Chainz . Skooly has work with Short Dawg aka Fresh and Cap 1 with the T.R.U Label.
