Rich Brenner (1946 – 2012) was an American television sportscaster. For two decades, he reported with FOX8. He is a United States Marine Corps Veteran and covered the Vietnam war from the collegiate point of view. Rich anchored sports for WLVA in Lynchburg, Virginia; WAVY in Portsmouth, Virginia; WRAL, Raleigh, North Carolina; WMAQ, Chicago, Illinois; WTVD, Durham, North Carolina and WGHP-Fox8, Greensboro, Nortth Carolina. Rich worked tirelessly for charities in his community and across the state. [1]
