Rhosymedre

Rhosymedre is a village within the community of Cefn and the county borough of Wrexham, Wales.

The Anglican church, which was consecrated in 1837, is dedicated to St John the Evangelist,^[1] and is part of the Diocese of St Asaph.^[2] Former vicars include John David Edwards (vicar 1843-1885), whose most famous hymn tune composition is Rhosymedre.^[3]

Rhosymedre Halt railway station served the village from 1906 to 1959.

Robert Williams, father of Mark Williams, lived at 8 Rock Road in early sixties.
