Reykjavik Excursions Kynnisferðir is an Icelandic company founded in 1968, and one of the largest tour operators in Iceland, offering a range of tours and services for individuals and groups.

Reykjavik Excursions operates one of the largest coach fleets in Iceland with 70 vehicles of all shapes and sizes. All coaches are equipped with free Wi-Fi. Reykjavik Excursions is a fully licensed tour operator and travel agent.

Reykjavik Excursions Kynnisferðir is the first Icelandic tour operator to be granted the ISO 14001 certification for environmental management from the British Standard Institute (BSI). It is also a participant in VAKINN, quality and environmental system for Icelandic tourism. It is Iceland’s only company with a membership in the Global Passenger Network, an international association founded to promote the highest standards in coach operations.

Flybus - Airport Transfers

Reykjavik Excursions Kynnisferðir has operated the main shuttle bus service between Iceland’s capital Reykjavík and Keflavík International Airport – the Flybus – since 1979. The Flybus is scheduled between BSÍ Bus Terminal and the airport in connection with every flight – all year around. Flybus+ includes a pick up and drop off at selected hotels and guesthouses in Reykjavík.

Hop On – Hop Off” City Sightseeing

Reykjavik Excursions operates double-decker city sightseeing busses within the "Hop On – Hop Off" concept, which is known all over Europe. This bus rotates in Reykjavík on daily basis, from June through August. Every hour on the hour (10.00–16.00) with 10 stops around the city centre. Passengers can “hop off” and “hop on” at any of these 10 stops and then carry on with the tour. Each ticket is valid for 24 hours. The busses are equipped with a guidance system offering 8 languages: Icelandic, English, Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian.
