The Revue économique is a peer-reviewed academic journal published six times per year. It covers formal economics and other social sciences including history and sociology of relevance for economics. Articles are in French or English.

The Revue économique is published by the Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques, with the support of the French National Centre for Scientific Research and the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences.[1] Each May's issue draws from presentations at the annual congress of the Association française de science économique (French Society of Economic Science).[1]

History

The first issue of the Revue économique was published in May, 1950. Founders included economic historian Fernand Braudel[2] and Albert Aftalion, who presided over the journal's board of directors ("comité de direction").[3] Until 1977, the journal was published by Librarie Armand Colin and since 1978 by the Presses de Sciences Po.[4]
