Reverse bounty

A reverse bounty is a bounty that a service provider proposes for doing a particular job. It is distinct from a regular or direct bounty, which is proposed by a person wishing to pay for a service. Reverse bounties are most common in open source software development. There is a great similarity with crowdfunding.
