Reva Institute of Technology and Management (RITM) (Kannada: ರೇವ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ) is a private technical co-educational engineering college in Bangalore, Karnataka.^[3] Reva Group of Educational Institutions was established in the year 2002, managed by Bheemaneni Educational Service Trust. In the year 2004 it was taken over by Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust led by Shri P. Shyamaraju. Reva is a unit of Divyasree. Reva Group of Institutions is in Ganganagar and Kattigenahalli.

The REVA ITM is built on a campus of about 35 acres and is a technical education center.

Academic units and programs

Reva Institute of Technology and Management offers undergraduate courses — Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) programmes — in six disciplines^[4] and postgraduate programmes in 12:^[5]

Visvesvaraya Technological University has set up its extension center in Reva Institute of Technology and Management which offers two part-time postgraduate courses: M.Tech in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems and M.Tech in Computer Network Engineering.

Achievements

Sunitha Kumari from department of MCA won a gold medal in VTU Inter collegiate Cross Country Competition held at SJCIT, Chickaballpur on 12 February 2011.^[6]

Placements

The Training & Placement (T&P) department is the chief facilitator for the students to obtain the placements that best suit them and is primarily a liaison between industry and the institute.

REVA University

REVA University is one of 13 private universities that got a nod from BJP-led Government of Karnataka. GoK has passed the bills and sent it to Honorable Governor H.R. Bharadwaj for his approval.^[8] REVA is planning to start new PG courses under REVA University from the academic year 2013-14 while retaining all the present running courses including Bachelor of Engineering under Visvesvaraya Technological University.
