"Retrograde" is a song by English electronic music producer and singer-songwriter James Blake. The song was released as a digital download on 11 February 2013 as the lead single from his second studio album Overgrown (2013). The song was written, produced and recorded by Blake,[1] and the music video was directed by Martin de Thurah.[2]

The song has appeared in promos and during the pilot episode of The Leftovers. It is also featured on the sixth episode of the third season of Suits, "The Other Time", the second episode of the first season of Masters of Sex, "Race to Space" and in the promo for the TV series Empire, as well as the third episode of the eighteenth series of Silent Witness, "Falling Angels (Part One)".
