Repalle railway station is a railway station, located in Repalle town of Andhra Pradesh. It is administered under South Central Railway zone of Indian Railways and lies on the Tenali-Repalle branch line of Guntur-Repalle section.

History

Guntur-Repalle Broad gauge section was opened in the year 1916. Repalle Railway Station was opened in 1916 with connectivity to Tenali.[1] At that time it is owned by Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway. It serves for the people living in Repalle, Nizampatnam and Avanigadda.

New line survey

New line surveys to be taken up in 2012-13 include Machilipatnam-Repalle via Nizampatnam.[2]
