René van der Gijp (born 4 April 1961) is a retired Dutch football right winger.

During his club career, Van der Gijp played for Sparta Rotterdam, PSV, KSC Lokeren, Neuchâtel Xamax, FC Aarau and SC Heerenveen. He also made 15 appearances for the Netherlands national team, scoring 2 goals. His father Wim, as well as his uncle Cor, also were capped by Oranje.

After his football career, Van der Gijp became known as a television pundit for Dutch football talk show Voetbal International, broadcast by RTL.
