Rejith Menon (born in Trichur, Kerala, India), is an Indian film actor. He made his debut in 2007 through the Malayalam film Goal.[3]

Personal life

Rejith Menon did his schooling in Abu Dhabi Model School, and continued his bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering at St. Josephs college of engineering in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Career

Rejith Menon debuted in films, by acting in Malayalam film Goal. Being a passionate movie buff he went onto see the film shooting of Kamal's Karutha Pakshikal, which was shot in Trichur, Rejith's hometown. There amidst the crowd he was handpicked by Sugith (who was an assistant to Kamal) and was later referred by him to play the lead role in Kamal's Goal.[4] He received the "Asianet Best New Face Award" for this film.[5] Even though, he only worked in seven films in a span of five years, he was cast to do the lead role in films directed by I.V. Sasi, Joshiy, Kamal, Rajasenan and T.K. Rajeevkumar.

.[6] He made his Tamil film debut in 2014 with Vikraman's Ninaithathu Yaaro in which he played an assistant director n the film had prominent film personalities like actor Surya, Jayam Ravi, Vimal, Prabhudeva and directors like Ameer, Shankar, Murugadoss, Bharathiraja etc. making cameo appearances...[7] He made his Telugu debut in 2014 through the film Golden Chance directed by dashami fame chinna aenuganti. In the same year he was cast to play the lead in Bollywood movie Hotel Beautifool, directorial debut of Hindi theater personality Sameer Iqbal Patel.[8] He has also signed his second Telugu film, Sreerama Raksha, directed by Ramanujan Elu.[9]

Rajith has also directed a six-minute musical short film titled Love Policy with Aju Varghese and Shritha Sivadas in the lead which was Sony musics second venture in kerala n was listed in most trending music videos in YouTube homepage.[10]
