The Reflection Tour is the first major headlining tour by American girl group Fifth Harmony, launched in support of their debut studio album, Reflection (2015). Jasmine V, Jacob Whitesides and Mahogany Lox served as opening acts for the tour.[1] The tour began on February 27, 2015 in San Francisco and ended on March 27, 2015 in Philadelphia.[2] Yahoo! livestreamed the March 24, 2015 Boston concert.[3]
Sixteen of the twenty-five dates were sold out. The tour attracted over 30,000 fans and grossed a total of $1.3 million becoming the group's most successful tour yet.
After the completion of the Reflection Tour, the group announced an extension, Reflection: The Summer Tour, a North American two month tour, which begins on July 15 in Louisville, Kentucky and ending on 15 September in Seattle, Washington.[4] Reflection: The Summer Tour will have the following opening acts: fellow X-Factor almun Bea Miller, Debby Ryan, Natalie La Rose and Common Kings.[5][6]
Background
Following Fifth Harmony's 2014 selection as an MTV Artist to Watch and the group's Artist to Watch MTV Video Music Award win, an MTV-sponsored headlining tour was announced in January 2015.[7] This was to be Fifth Harmony's first major tour following small-scale headlining tours in 2013 and 2014, and slots as opening acts on tours for Demi Lovato, Cher Lloyd, and Austin Mahone.
In conjunction with the tour announcement on January 7, 2015, a cover of the hit song Uptown Funk was uploaded onto Fifth Harmony's YouTube account, featuring the group and their three opening acts.[8][9]
The girls made an announcement on a 'Pool Party' with the event broadcast by Periscope. In this event the girls made the announcement of the Summer Tour! The girls of the Fifth Harmony sent an email to the registered fans in the 'Newsletter' official website, informing about the announcement. [10]
