Red Stone is a 2D massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by L&K Logic Korea.
There are eight classes to choose from, each of which are divided into two subclasses. Characters can experience a transformation from one subclass into another.
There is also an array of weapons built that differ in statistics based on their prefixes and suffixes (similar to Diablo). There is also an item system based on graded rarity. Parties of up to eight people may be formed, and these groups are often required to complete secret dungeons (SDs). A guild system is available, and guild wars are the only form of player-versus-player (PvP) content in the game.
Gameplay
The game follows a 2-dimensional environment of which it requires the user to click on the location the user desires his in-game avatar to go to. The game is hack-and-slash, requiring mostly clicking to play the game. It is also centered around leveling consistently, as the max level is Level 999. It is also heavily reliant on using "Buffs", which empower the user greatly, allowing them to thoroughly enjoy playing the game. Furthermore, the class system is also seemingly balanced, allowing each class to be equally fun and challenging. The classes can also be blended together into a party to create better survival rates during dungeons or high-level areas that would be very difficult for a sole person to solo. It is mainly structured for PvE gameplay.
The professions are gender-locked, meaning that certain classes that are male or female cannot be switched to the opposing gender. Also, the characters cannot be customized during character creating, leading to a generic look to all the character sprites. However, weapons and armor do change the appearance of the characters.
Story
The game takes place during the year 4423, of which the populace of the continent Prandel woke up to the "Day of the Red Sky". Speculation states that over 500 years ago, the heavens from above descendent upon the world, leading to a inferno on the continent. Others, however, have debated that it was a large, red stone which fell from the blackened skies and fragment among the earth, obliterating the location of the Red Stone off the continent of Prandel. People have created rumors that the Red Stone grants eternal youth and flamboyant amounts of wealth to the finder, and others have speculated that the power of the Red Stone is far too dangerous to bear.
