Reaux, Reaux, Reaux Your Boat is the second short in the Inspector series of made for television cartoons. A total of 34 entries were produced between 1965 and 1969.

Plot

The Inspector and Seargent Deux Deux try to apprehend the smuggler Captain Clamity (who is in fact, a clam) on the waterfront. At the very beginning of the episode, the Inspector falls off Deux-Deux's bicycle and into the water, but must've gotten back to shore with the help of a friendly mermaid. All the while, the Inspector tries to apprehend the smuggler, but all the rowboats used break, and he's the one sinking. Deux-Deux makes a silly comment as he watches his friend sink, and he even says that he's going to call his mother. The Inspector successfully apprehends the smuggler, along with his crab shipmate, and their crew, which includes fish, a hippocampus, and a naughty siren. At the end of the episode, the Inspector sinks in the ship.

Notes

The Pink Panther Show contained a laugh track when The Inspector cartoons were broadcast on NBC-TV. This version of Reaux, Reaux, Reaux Your Boat currently airs on the Spanish language Boomerang TV channel.
