Realms of Chaos is a platform game written for DOS, published by Apogee Software.
Realms of Chaos is distributed as shareware. It consists of three episodes, with only the first episode playable in the shareware version. The episodes are:
- Episode 1: Revolt of the Myraal
- Episode 2: The Goblin Plague
- Episode 3: Foray into Fire
The game was authored by Keith Schuler, who had previously designed Paganitzu.[1] The game is still sold by Apogee.
Gameplay
The gameplay of Realms of Chaos was like the standard action platformer commonly found on consoles. The player controls two characters, a warrior called Endrick and a mage called Elandra, and can switch between them at any time. Both characters have slightly different abilities, and players are meant to use a different character for different situations.
