Re-Kan! (Japanese: レーカン! Hepburn: Rēkan!) is a Japanese four-panel manga series by Hinako Seta, serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Jumbo magazine. Re-Kan! was first published as a one-shot in Manga Time Jumbo '​s December 2009 issue, and it later began serialization with the February 2010 issue. It has been collected into four tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation by Pierrot+ is scheduled to air from April 2, 2015.

Hibiki Amami (天海 響 Amami Hibiki)

The main protagonist. A girl who can see, talk, and interact with ghosts, she is also capable of understanding what cats are saying. She's kind but a bit air-headed and treats both the living and dead equally.
Narumi Inoue (井上 成美 Inoue Narumi)

Hibiki's classmate, who hates everything related to the occult and tends to be in conflict with Amami's ghostly antics. She's a granny's girl and the spirit of her grandmother tends to be nearby.
Kana Uehara (上原 佳菜 Uehara Kana)

Amami's classmate and Kyoko's childhood friend. She has a blog where she publishes pictures involving the supernatural (since ghosts appear in pictures).
Kyōko Esumi (江角 京子 Esumi Kyōko)

Amami's classmate and Kana's childhood friend. She used to be a delinquent who defended people from other delinquents, earning the nickname Flame-Haired Messiah, but she hates being called like that.

Amami's classmate, who likes making zombie dolls.

Hibiki's late mother. Her sixth sense was apparently stronger than her daughter's, and occasionally made prophecies.

The ghost of a samurai who died of hunger and after Hibiki gave him food, he started to protect her in any way he can.

A cute but perverted cat that is constantly trying to peek on girls(specially Hibiki). The ghosts always frustrate his attempts at perversion.

Anime

An anime television series adaptation by Pierrot+ is scheduled to air from April 2, 2015.[1][2] The opening theme, "Colorful Story" and the ending theme, "Kesaran Pasaran" are both performed by every♥ing, a unit composed of the voice actresses Ibuki Kido and Erii Yamazaki.[3]Crunchyroll announced that it will stream the anime, beginning on April 3, 2015.[4] Sentai Filmworks has licensed the anime for digital and home video release in North America.[5]
