Razole or Rajolu is a village in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is surrounded by the river Vashishta (Godavari) and is known for its coconut and palm trees. Several Tollywood directors have used the region around Razole as a backdrop for films, including Ladies Tailor, Chanti, Kabaddi Kabaddi, and Vinayakudu. The resort of Dindi is located on the banks of the Godavari.

The Pilgrims of the Old Days

There are famous pilgrim locations around Razole, such as Appanapalli and Antarvedhi.

Appanapalli is famous for the Lord Bala Balaji Temple. This was the first temple to give free meals to the devotees.

Antarvedhi is famous for the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Antarvedi and the Antarvedhi Teertham festival is celebrated annually. Situated at the place where the Bay of Bengal and Vashista Godavari meet. It was built in the 15th and 16th centuries.

KadaIi Also known as "Dakshina (South India) Kasi" is famous for the Sri Kapotheswara Swamy temple historical temple . Sri jagadguru Adi sankaracharya visited the temple and he has installed "Sri chakra sahitha Sri Bala thripura sundari devi". The place is considered as "Dakshina Kasi", because even here there is a burial ground near the temple, like Kasi kshetram. Other temples include Lord Balaji old and Lord Balaji New temple, Lord Siva temple in the centre of the village, and Kanakadurgamma temple and Grama Devatha temple in Central Market.
