Raza Jafar is a business-man and philanthropist best known as the CEO of the United Arab Emirates-based property development company ENSHAA PSC. In 2007 he was appointed Honorary Investment Counsellor in the UAE to Pakistan.

Overview

Early in his career Raza Jafar was an advisor to the Government of UAE - Sharjah Ports and Customs and Sharjah Freezone Authority. He later became CEO of ENSHAA PSC,[1] a United Arab Emirates based property development company[2] which is currently building the Palazzo Versace and D1 Tower projects in Culture Village, Dubai.[3] Under Jafar the company has accumulated a company portfolio worth US$2 billion.

Having been appointed by Pakistan as Honorary Investment Counsellor in the UAE in 2007,[4] Jafar has worked to develop investment and trade between the two countries.[5]

Additionally, as a member of the Synergos Global Philanthropists Circle,[6] he has contributed to charitable causes in the region, including raising funds and spreading awareness of the 2010 Pakistan floods.[7]
