Rayyan Air is an airline headquartered in Islamabad, Pakistan.[1] Further branch offices are located in Karachi, China and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.[2] The company has its airline licence issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan, allowing it to operate passenger, cargo and executive charter flights.

In addition to cargo charters, Rayyan Air operated a scheduled passenger service to China, linking Kashgar with Islamabad, in cooperation Pakistan International Airlines using the carriers Airbus A310-300 aircraft, crew and PK flight code, marketed as "SILK ROAD IN THE SKY" [3][4]

The company was granted Regular Public Transport (RPT) license to carry out scheduled domestic and international operations as a regular scheduled carrier.

For cargo, Rayyan Air operated two Boeing 747-200F aircraft with an average age of 29.6 years, the first of which joined the fleet in September 2009.[5]

The carrier shut down its cargo operation in April, 2014 by terminating its dry lease agreement with Aerospace and Agneet Sky limited, however the company is continuing its passenger operations between Pakistan and China in collaboration with Pakistan International Airlines and runs weekly flights between Islamabad and Kashgar.

It now operates as AHS Air International
