Raymonde April, OC (born 23 June 1953) is a Canadian photographer and academic.[1]
Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, April grew up in Rivière-du-Loup.[2] April is a full-time instructor, Photography and Chair of Studio Arts at Concordia University.[3]
In 2010, she was made an Officer of the Order of Canada for having "made a significant contribution to the evolution of photography in Canada".[4] In 2003, she was awarded the Prix Paul-Émile-Borduas.
