Raymond Stora (born September 18, 1930) is a French physicist and research director emeritus at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) where he is engaged in particle physics research.[1]
Stora studied at École Polytechnique between 1951 to 1953, and then at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)) where he received a doctorate in 1958.
Stora was elected as a correspondent to the physics section of the French Academy of Sciences.[1]
In 2009, Stora was awarded the Dannie Heineman Prize for Mathematical Physics.[2]
