Raylene (born Stacey Briana Bernstein on February 12, 1977) is the stage name of an American former pornographic actress. She is also an AVN Hall of Fame inductee.

Early life

Raylene was born and raised in Glendora, California.[4] She is of Italian and Mexican descent on her mother's side.[4] Her father is Jewish of Polish and Austrian descent.[1][4]

As a child, Raylene chose to attend Christian schools.[4] She was an honors student in high school and graduated at age 16, two years early.[4] She wanted to pursue Christian studies at Azusa Pacific University and become a Christian high school teacher, but did not have enough money or time to do so.[4]

With help from her uncle, who is a producer, Raylene appeared on Hunter and 21 Jump Street.[4]

Career

In 1996 at the age of 19, Raylene did her first boy-girl scene in Shane's World #4 with Mark Davis. In 1998, Raylene signed an exclusive contract with the adult film company Vivid Entertainment.[1] Over the course of her career she has also worked for production companies such as Adam & Eve, Brazzers, Elegant Angel, Evil Angel, Girlfriends Films, Hustler Video, Sin City, Tom Byron Pictures, VCA Pictures, Wicked Pictures, and Zero Tolerance.[2]

Raylene has retired from the adult film industry several times - first in 2001 to become a real estate agent and then from dancing in 2004.[1] As documented in the movie After Porn Ends, in response to financial hardship in 2009, she made a comeback with the movie Raylene's Dirty Work.[5] In January 2014, she announced via her Twitter account that she had retired from the industry.[6]

Appearances

At the 2000 Grammy Awards, Raylene was featured cage dancing with Kobe Tai during a performance by Kid Rock.[7]

Personal life
