The Rawra mountain range (Quechua rawra gravel,[1] hispanicized spelling Raura) is situated in the Andes of Peru. It extends between 10°21' and 10°31'S and 76°41' and 76°50'W for about 20 km.[2] The range is located in the regions Huánuco, Lima and Pasco. It lies a few kilometres southeast of the Waywash mountain range.
The highest mountain in the range is Santa Rosa at 5,717 metres (18,757 ft). Other notable peaks are:
- Kuntursinqa, 5,379 metres (17,648 ft)
- León Waqanan, 5,421 metres (17,785 ft)
- Rumiwayin, 5,580 metres (18,307 ft) and
- Yarupaq 5,685 metres (18,652 ft).[3]
