Ravindra Rupasena (Sinhala:රවීන්ද්ර රූපසේන) was a heart-throb of the cinema goers of the 1950s was one of Sri Lanka's popular Sri Lankan film actors.
Early life and education
He was educated at Nalanda College Colombo. Some of Ravindra Rupasena's notable classmates at Nalanda College were Dr Henry Jayasena, Karunaratne Abeysekera, Dr Harischandra Wijayatunga, Dr Hudson Silva, Hon. Dr Dharmasena Attygalle, Hon. Rupa Karunathilake, Stanley Jayasinghe and Henry Jayasena. [1][2]
Ravindra was married to Leena De Silva, a star of yesteryears Sinhala cinema[3]
