Ratschkathl

Ratschkathl is a stage character of the Bavarian popular theatre. It means "rattlepuss", literally "gossiping Cathy". Today in the Bavarian language it is a synonym for a "chatty and gossip addicted woman".[1] The inventor oft this stage character was the Bavarian folk actress Elise Aulinger. Later on, the character had been perfected by the Bavarian folk comedian Ida Schumacher[2]
