Rashi Mal is an Indian actress, best known as the bad girl of Channel V's TV Soap opera Paanch. She started her acting career with Bejoy Nambiar's TV series "MTV Rush" in which she was a part of one of the stories. In the fall of 2013, she got her major breakthrough with the role of 'Gauri Laada' in the youth based series "Paanch- Five Wrongs Makes a Right" on Channel V. She recently made appearances in TV series "Mtv Webbed Season 2" "Love By Chance on Bindass" and "Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya Season 2 on Zing". Rashi Mal did again super hit performance in #Yeh Hai Aashiqui's episode.

Career

Rashi Mal started her career as a choreographer. She has choreographed numerous dance numbers at Ashley Lobo's dance academy. She studied engineering from Mumbai. She has also performed in theatre for five years. Later she made her debut in acting career in MTV Rush in which she was a part of one of the stories. She has performed in ad films for Lays, Nokia. She was also a judge in "Blossom Short Film Festival" initiated by "Wiz Studio." Recently in the past she was performing in the show "Paanch- 5 Wrong Makes a Right" on Channel V where she was playing the role of Gauri Laada.[1][2] She also acted in an episode of "MTV Webbed" Where she played a school girl who becomes a victim due to events related to web-crime.[3] After, this she was seen in an episodic in "Love By Chance" on Bindass.[4] She also featured in one story of "Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya" on Zing [5]

Paanch - Five Wrongs Makes a Right

Paanch - Five Wrongs Makes a Right is the Channel V's serial where Rashi Mal is seen in a negative role as Gauri. The show touches a serious topic of ragging. Rashi is playing a role of a Gang leader who is smart, beautiful, power hungry and dominating. Rashi went out to audition for another part for some another show but she landed to Paanch with a sheer co-incidence. Rashi has received rave reviews for her performance from the audiences. Her character and the story of the show has been written by talented writer Aseem Arora and directed by Shashank Bharadwaj.
