Ranjini Haridas (born in Kochi, Kerala) is a television anchor, film actress, model and former Miss Kerala.

Career

Ranjini was the winner of the Miss Kerala 2000 achieved prominence in Malayalam television in 2007 as the anchor of the reality show Idea Star Singer on Asianet. She also presentedclosing ceremony at the 2010 Keli International Kalamela in Switzerland..

Personal life

She completed her schooling from Bharaitya Vidya Mandir, Girinagar. She was educated at St. Teresa's College, Kochi. She later joined a university program in the United Kingdom, but did not meet the graduation requirements.[1]

Film career

Ranjini made her film debut with a cameo role in China Town, where she appeared as herself, the anchor of Idea Star Singer. She appeared in the 2013 Malayalam film named Entry opposite Baburaj which was her first film in a lead role, playing a police officer, ACP Shreya.[2] She signed her second film with internationally acclaimed director Rupesh Paul.[3]
