Commercial area
Rani Gunj is a major commercial area which houses leading automobile dealer which deals with spares of all vehicles.
Some of the major trade center's include the Al-Karim center. The place is also home to a lot of service engineering shops located in the area. The last couple of years have seen a major change with the addition of new hotels like Hotel Balajee Palace shopping establishments like Digital Shoppy which is located right across the Ranigunj bus-stop. Bombay Hotel and Bakery is also a good place for sipping Irani chai and biscuits.
Transport
There are many buses run by TSRTC that connect to Hyderabad and Secunderabad. This suburb has a major bus depot.
