Rangapuram Khandrika

Rangapuram Khandrika (or Agraharam) is an agency village in Sitanagaram Gram panchayat of Chintalapudi Mandal. As per the records, the village was formed in 1957, about 3 km away from Sitanagaram, in midst of deciduous forest by few migrants mostly from coastal areas of West Godavari. The village is situated in between Chintalapudi and Sathupally. Until 1957, the area was a dense forest. There is historical evidence that the village was based on land of 1000 acres given to a Brahmin by a Zamindar or King.
