Ranelagh is a township in the Huon Valley of Tasmania, Australia, best known for the Ranelagh Showgrounds which host the annual Huon Show and Taste of the Huon events which are major tourism attractions for the Huon Valley[1][2][3] Ranelagh also includes the Ranelagh Soldiers Memorial Hall opened in 1924,[4] the heritage listed Clifton estate (previously Matilda's of Ranelgh)[5][6] shops, several churches and cemeteries[7] and the award winning Home Hill Wines vineyard.[8] At the 2011 census Ranelagh had 1,027 inhabitants[9]
