Ran Eliran
Ron Eliran or Ran Eliran (born 1937), also known as "Israel's Ambassador of Song", is an Israeli singer.
Early life
Ron Eliran, was born in Haifa, British Mandate of Palestine in 1937 as the middle sibling out of three children. His given name was Menachem Leizerovich. His Polish-Jewish parents ran a bakery. He taught himself music.
Early career
Ron was the Israeli army's entertainer starting in 1962. He also partially helped in the Six-Day War. His songs include Sharm el-Sheikh song.
Personal Life
Ron Eliran currently lives in New York City and has one son, Michael Eliran, who is the lead frontman in the band Dolly Spartans.
