Ramesh Bidhuri (born 1961) is an Member of Parliament and a member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).[1]
Ramesh Bidhuri was born on 18 July 1961 in Tughlakabad Village, New Delhi, India. He did his initial schooling at G.B.S.S School No. 2, Kalkaji, New Delhi and took a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Delhi University Shaheed Bhagat Singh College; he also holds a LLB degree. Since his college days he has been active in politics. He chose the BJP as his political party. He was General Secretary in the BJP in Delhi State. In 2003-08 he was the Vice President of BJP Delhi. BJP chose him for MP candidate in the 2014 Loksabha election.
Personal life
He was born to Shri Ramrikh Bidhuri and smt. Charto Devi, is married to Smt. Kamla Bidhuri and has two sons and a daughter.
Political career
Since his college days, Bidhuri was active in politics.He joined BJP and had been 3 times MLA from Tuglakabad constituency in Delhi state. As for the 2014 general elections Bidhuri was declared as the candidate from South Delhi constituency by BJP. Bidhuri won the election with a huge margin against Congress and AAP candidates. He is currently the Member of Parliament representing South Delhi.[2]
