Ramavarappadu is a suburb in Vijayawada, situated on National Highway 5 in the outskirts of the city.[1]
Demographics
As of 2011 Census of India, the town had a population of 22,222. The total population constitute, 11,092 males, 11,130 females and 2,316 children, in the age group of 0–6 years. The average literacy rate stands at 81.02% with 16,127 literates, significantly higher than the national average of 73.00%.[2]
Transportation
Ramvarappadu railway station is located on the Vijayawada-Machilipatnam branch of Indian railway, and passenger trains stop at Ramavarappadu station.
