Ramat Magshimim
Ramat Magshimim (Hebrew: רָמַת מַגְשִׁימִים) is an Israeli settlement, moshav, in the southern Golan Heights, under the administration of Israel. The settlement was built in 1972, when Golan area was a part of the Israeli Military Governorate. In 1981, the area of Golan was unilaterally annexed by Israel, abolishing military occupation system and imposing Israeli civil rule on the area. It now falls under the municipal jurisdiction of the Golan Regional Council. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the Golan Heights illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.[1]
