Raja Jang

Raja Jang (Urdu: راجہ جنگ), is a town and Union Council of Kasur District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[1] It is part of Kasur Tehsil and is located at 31°13'15N 74°15'7E with an altitude of 196 metres (646 feet).[2] Raja Jang is the largest town in Pakistan. Its population is over 100,000.

History

The name Raja Jang is a variation of the name of Raja Jinak. Raja Jinak was a famous person once lived in Raja Jang under British rule. Raja Jang is a historic town with historic streets, mansions and a couple of castles.
