Thotakura Somaraju Raj and Saluri Koteswara Rao, popularly known as Raj-Koti was an Indian film music composers, singer-song writers, record producers, musicians and multi-instrumentalists duo in Telugu Cinema, In a notable career spanning a decade, the duo has garnered particular acclaim for redefining contemporary Telugu film music.They composed maximum 3000 songs . In those songs, 2,500 songs were sang by legendary singers S. P. Balasubrahmanyam & K. S. Chithra[1][2]

Composer A. R. Rahman has worked as a key board player for the duo Raj-Koti for eight years.[3][4] In a Television interview, aired on ABN Andhrajyothy the duo announced that they are teaming up again in 2012 and reinstate the Raj-Koti brand.[5]

Background

Thotakura Somaraju Raj was the son of T. V. Raju, the music pioneers of Telugu film and Saluri Koteswara Rao was the son of S. Rajeswara Rao classics.[6]
