Rain Veideman (born October 1, 1991) is an Estonian professional basketball guard, who plays for BC Kalev/Cramo. He is also a member of the Estonian national basketball team.
Pro career
Veideman started his pro career at the age of 17 playing for Kuremaa SK in the Korvpalli Meistriliiga (KML). He was one of the top performers in the team with 10.9 points average in 16 league games. From Kuremaa he moved to BC Rakvere Tarvas for the 2009/10 season. Again Veideman was one of the key players in the team, helping Tarvas win silver medals in the Estonian league. He avareged 15.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists during the campaign. This was enough for Veideman to earn a contract with the team who had defeated Tarvas in the KML finals, Tartu Ülikool/Rock. Veideman kept on performing good averaging 11.6 points, in KML and 11.5 points in the Baltic Basketball League in his first season in Tartu.[1] The 2011/12 season was again good for Veideman as he kept improving and earned his first international contract in February 2012 and started playing for BBC Bayreuth in the Basketball Bundesliga.[2] After the season he returned to Estonia to play for his former club Tartu Ülikool/Rock. For the 2013–14 season he signed with BC Kalev/Cramo.[3]
