Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles

Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles is a Beatles tribute show. It actually predates the popular Broadway show Beatlemania by several years. Rain ran on Broadway for 300 shows (and 8 preview performances) at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in New York City from October 2010 to July 2011. In addition to the Broadway engagement, "RAIN" has toured for years.

History

Rain started back in 1975 as an original band that also loved to play the music of the Beatles. They developed a following of Beatles fans around the Los Angeles/Orange County area. Producer Dick Clark hired them to do the entire soundtrack for his film "The Birth of the Beatles".

In 2008, Pollstar listed Rain at number 17 in its yearly "Pollstar's Hot top 20" for overall tickets sales of a touring show, band, or production.
