Raiffeisen (Switzerland)
Raiffeisen is a Swiss cooperative bank. After the UBS and the Crédit suisse, it is the third largest bank in Switzerland.[1]
Raiffeisen has 3.7 million customers, 1.8 million of whom are cooperative members (co-owners) of Raiffeisen.[1] The group has 1,084 branches throughout Switzerland[1] and is a member of the International Raiffeisen Union (IRU), which is an association of cooperatives based on the ideas of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen.[2]
