Rahil Azam is an Indian television actor.[2] He is well known for playing the role of Hatim in Hatim[3] on Star Plus.[4][5][6]

Personal life

Rahil was born September 27, 1981 and raised in Banglore. He did his graduation in software engineering.[7][8] Apart from acting, he wanted to be a Jockey.[9]

Career

Rahil made his television debut with horror show Ssshhhh...Koi Hai on Star Plus in 2002. After that he did another horror show Achanak 37 Saal Baad.[10] He also played the role of Rakesh in Bhabhi, Ashmit Malhotra in Ye Meri Life Hai[11] and Suraj Kiran in Saarrthi.[12][13] He also did an episodic roles in Ssshhhh...Koi Hai and C.I.D. In 2008 he has played the dual character of a woman and man as a split personality in Ratna Sinha’s show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na.[14] On March 2009, he was approached for the lead role of Raka in Sunil Vohra's show Seeta Aur Geeta, but he was out of the show due to Malaria.[15] After that he was ropped for the lead roles in TV show Mr. & Mrs. Mishra and Gulaal.[16] On July 2013, he was approached for the role of Vanraj in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's show Saraswatichandra, but he was out of the show and replaced by Aanshul Trivedi.[17][18] He was last seen as Malik Khan in Zee TV's show Hitler Didi.[19] He came back in CID on 2 January 2015, in the Episode "Nakul Returns".[20][21]
