Ragasiya Police is a 1995 Tamil crime film directed by R. S. Elavarasan. The film features R. Sarathkumar and Nagma in lead roles. The film, produced by A. N. Sundaresan, had musical score by Laxmikant–Pyarelal and was released on 23 October 1995. The film bombed at the box-office.[1][2][3]
Plot
The film begins with the murder of a politician committed by the terrorist Azhagam Perumal (Anandaraj). The corrupt finance minister Ponnurangam (Goundamani) wants to become the central minister therefore he orders Azhagam Perumal for money to create the chaos in Tamil Nadu. So Azhagam Perumal first sets off a bomb in a head office of Ponnurangam's opposite party. 22 people died during the bomb blast. Consequently, the Central Minister (Raadhika Sarathkumar) charges the Anti Terrorist Squad's Assistant Commissioner Suriya (R. Sarathkumar) to track down the terrorist group. Meanwhile, Suriya and Raji fall in love with each other. What transpires next forms the rest of the story.
