Patricia Rae Peppers is a Democratic member of the Montana House of Representatives who represents the 41st District. She was elected in 2012, defeating Republican incumbent Sterling Small by a margin of 1,399 to 1,080.[1]
Peppers sponsored legislation in 2013, HB 447,[2] to provide scholarships for Montana Purple Heart recipients.[3] In 2012, Peppers' son, Pfc. Joshua Peppers, lost his right foot following an attack involving an IED while on duty with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan.[4]
She is a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe and resides in Lame Deer, Montana.[3]
