Born in Foča, Bosnia and Herzegovina, he played with FK Sutjeska Foča in the First League of the Republika Srpska before moving to Serbian side FK Donji Srem during the winter break of the 2012–13 Serbian SuperLiga.[1] In August 2014 he moved to Hellas Verona.
