Rachel Carling-Jenkins (born 2 September 1975) is an Australian politician. She is a Democratic Labour Party member of the Victorian Legislative Council, having represented Western Metropolitan Region since 2014.[1][2] Carling-Jenkins has a Ph.D. in Social Science; she has worked as an academic and social worker, before unsuccessfully contesting La Trobe in the 2013 Federal Election for the DLP. Carling-Jenkins wrote a book called Disability and Social Movements, which was published in November 2014.
