Raashi is a current Bengali television serial which airs on Bengali General Entertainment Channel Zee Bangla. The show telecasts at Mon - Sat 7:00 p.m. Rashi, a common girl from Bikrampur fights for others, never hesitates to help people in trouble in spite of being restricted by her family. She is a girl, rebel at heart, free in nature, truth is her weapon and giving justice to every right thing is her motto in life. She loves to write and expresses herself through her writing. Rashi, the protagonist, is played by a new face Geetoshri supported by Indrajit, the main lead opposite Rashi.
Plot
The story revolves around Raashi, a girl from Bikrampur, and a man from the city, named Ujjal Roy. Ujjwal is from a wealthy established family and a spoiled brat, while Raashi is soft-hearted and strong character who believes in the basic virtues of life, is very helpful who helps her fellow .
After 7 Years
Seven years have passed away and Rashi doesn't have any relation with Ujjal. She is now an independent woman, who runs a NGO 'Aparajita'. Aparajita works for those women and girls who have been tortured by their family members. Even after seven years, Rashi cannot not forget her daughter. On the other hand, Ujjal is now a renowned entrepreneur. This episode shows a little girl, who is very kind to poor people. Who is this small girl? Is she the lost child of Rashi and Ujjal?[2]
Rashi's life is completely scattered after losing her daughter Aparajita. Similarly, Ujjal is also spending his days alone remembering Rashi and Aparajita. One day, small girl, who sells flowers for her livelihood, gets caught by the guards as she entered the house to pluck flowers. Meanwhile, Rashi comes there and asks her as to why she has done this. She says she is not a thief. She just wants to buy medicines for her mother by selling those flowers. Rashi feels sad to listen to this. [3]
After her separation from Ujjal, Rashi sets up 'Aparajita NGO', which works for underprivileged women and girls of the society. The NGO provides education to them and also educates them on how to become self dependent. One day, while speaking on this topic, Rashi tells them that education and wisdom are very important for self reliance. Meanwhile, a small little girl shouts 'courage' from behind the bushes. Rashi tries to identify the girl but she runs away. Who is that girl? [4]

Rashi protects Tishi from the guards. After that, she brings her inside the guest room. She offers her some sweets to eat. A bond develops between them. Whenever Rashi looks at her, Aparajita's memories appear in front of her eyes. After seven years, Sirsha is in very good position. Following Mr. Bhadhuri's death, she has become the owner of the house. She is also interfering in Ujjal's construction business. In this episode, Ujjal meets Rashi accidently.
