RT Trianguli Australis, or RT TrA, is a BL Herculis variable (type II Cepheid) in the constellation of Triangulum Australe.[1] It ranges between apparent magnitudes 8.1 and 9.79 over a period of 22 days.[2] It is unusual in that it is a carbon-rich type II Cepheid.[3]
