ROM (MUD)

ROM (Rivers of MUD) is a MUD codebase derived from Merc, which is based on DikuMUD[1] and noted for its organization.[2] Russ "Alander" Taylor released Rom 2.3 in 1993.[3]

The most current publicly available version of Rom is 2.4b6,[4] which was released in May 1998. Taylor worked with his then-wife Camille "Gabrielle Taylor"/"Antoinette" Dumas[5] and their close friend Brian Moore on this version of the project.
